Resilient floor maintenance

being manufactured has increased.
Whether it is vinyl, wood, stone, marble,
ceramic or any other resilient floor material,
our skill is to know the finish and maintenance
products that are appropriate for that particular
floor surface. We can recommend and provide
a floor care package suitable to your resilient
floor.

Our floor maintenance programs
for VCT floors include burnishing,
machine scrub/refinishing and strip/refinishing.
We can provide these services on a regularly
scheduled basis or on a one time basis.
Burnishing is performed with a high speed
floor machine using an acrylic restorer to
polish the existing finish on a floor. This
process will remove shallow scratches,
heel marks and scuffs to provide a "wet"
look to the floors. Periodic burnishing will
provide a dramatic improvement in the
appearance of the VCT floors and provide
a more durable, lasting finish.
Machine scrub and refinish is performed
with low speed floor machine to remove
deep scratches and ground in dirt from
the finish. After the floor is scrubbed, new
finish is applied. This process is performed
if the floor already has a good base
of finish but the condition of the finish
is beyond burnishing.

Machine strip and refinish is performed
with a low speed floor machine and chemical
stripper to completely remove old finish and
imbedded dirt deposits. Corners and edges
of the floor are detailed to ensure old dirt
and finish is removed from these hard to
get to areas. Sealer and new finish is then
applied.
